normally when i draw stuff and post it on my art blog i give some kind of description of what’s happening in the picture but i’m not gonna do that this time. i don’t feel like it.

study/sketch for centaur-centric idea i’m working on…
the centaurs have a centuries-old feud with some kinda wolf creatures or whatever
so the centaurs often wear wolf pelts and skulls as their hunting mantles
i’m going for a kind of native american tribe aesthetic
i drew the skull without a reference, and then when i was looking for reference pictures later, i discovered i did pretty well! i still had the idea of this guy having a deer skull for his mask, so that’s my reasoning behind no canines there. he’s meant to be like the prince or something. like, the chief’s son. (how do centaurs reproduce? we just don’t know.)
SORRY YOU CAN’T SEE THE HORSE PART OF HIM BUT I PROMISE IT’S THERE I PROMISE THIS GUY HAS A HORSE BUTT
anyways i was kinda running out of steam when i got to those little plate things on his chest there, i’ll probably come up with a better design later. (and the “ears” are my little nod to my favorite movie of all time, Princess Mononoke)
also wolf fur is hella hard to draw so i just searched for some stock wolf fur, whatever… (THANK YOU FOX-N-WOLF FROM DEVIANTART)
and no background again because it’s almost 3am and i’m tired okay leave me alone.
I’ve been playing a shitfuck of Phantom Hourglass in the past week so I drew a Link
in other news Zelda-style fairies are hella hard for me to draw.
also no background because backgrounds are dumb.
